| TheDJProject: Introduction to DJing Fall 2005 Joshua is currently teaching an Introduction to DJing class with TheDJProject, a division of Horizons Unlimited -- a non-profit, community outreach organization based in San Francisco. Although TheDJProject is centered around providing positive, educational alternatives for inner city youth, the program is free and open to all ages and races. The current class has 8 students ranging from 14 to 26 years old. In addition to teaching the basics of becoming a dj, TheDJProject provides goal-based instruction, mentoring opportunities for advanced students, as well as a showcase for newly developed and up and coming talent. Horizons and TheDJProject offer classes in audio production, break dancing, rapping, dance and photography, among others. Please click on the logos to the right for more information. |
